Our team consists of a diverse group of people all running their own side projects and businesses - from youtube channels to podcasts to even their own affiliate businesses. We encourage this because we encourage learning, experimenting and building at its core. We're a team of creatives from the very top and we truly understand and support the desire to be creative - whether at Flixed or outside :).

We're a group of creatives that enjoys building technology while also having control of our time and energy (both at work and at home). This is reflected in the culture we've built, which prioritizes deep work and autonomy.

Step 1 - Introductions 🤝
Informal introduction calls with a few of our team leads. We’ll use these calls to get to know each other 🙂. We’ll make sure to share a bit of historical context about Flixed, how we got here, where we’re headed and why. Depending on the role you’ll either meet with Thenuka (CEO), Ashok (Tech Lead), Kelsey (Content Lead) or Alex (Product Lead). Learn more about them on our team page.
Step 2 - Technical Discussion 👩🏼💻
This step will vary depending on the team and role you’re looking to join. The technical discussion is an opportunity for us to dive into a problem that is relevant to the role responsibilities 🛠. It’s a chance for you to display your expertise 👩🏼🍳, but also for us to share and provide more technical context on our projects 📽. You’ll be provided more details for each role as you move through this process.
Step 3 - Contract 👨🏻🏭
Depending on the role, you may start on a 1 - 3 month contract (full-time, 40 hrs/week). This gives both you and us a chance to work together directly and get a better understanding of company and role fit 🧩. We want to make sure you’re 100% happy about working with us before moving to full-time 😊.
Step 4 - Full-time Hire 👩🎨
